The PIP workshop is presented by Utah State Poetry Society in collaboration with Zion Park Historical Association and Zion Canyon Field Institute. Attendees will eceive a free Zion Park pass, guided nature walk plus a daylong poetry workshop on metaphors with our visiting poet. Also this same weekend is the Redrock Creative Writing Seminar on Saturday, March 4, 2017 in nearby St. George, Rosemerry Wahtola-Trommer will headline this seminar discussing Paradox in Poetry-How a Poem Turns; award-winning mystery novelist Tanya Parker Mills of St. George will present Finding the Poetry in Prose, and Joel Tucker award winning poet will explore Rhythm and Muse at the seminar.
